Short description

The Contracting Entity intends to procure a contract for the Supply, Maintenance, and Support of Hydro Control Centre (HCC) SCADA Upgrade.It is proposed that the Contract will include: Design, acquire the hardware, develop the software, assemble and work test, supply and deliver to the sites, erect, test at the sites, commission and optimise the HMI for the HCC SCADA system. It is not intended to replace the existing PLC’s and hardware which directly interface to the plant. The SCADA system shall interface with the PLCs and hardware in such a manner that full operation and monitoring facilities are available. It must also integrate with the ESB Enterprise Network. The HCC controls, operates and monitors 10 geographically separate sites controlling 20 hydro generating units and associated water controls. Local control is required for maintenance purposes, test purposes and for operating the plant under normal/fault conditions.The system shall be supported over its lifetime.
