The successful Tenderer is required to project manage the Seaweed Development Programme of work as determined by the Contracting Authority. This includes supplying expert and experienced personnel to carry out a challenging and innovative work load including training seaweed farmers, manipulation of red weeds (Porphyra umbilicalis, Palmaria Palmata, others as required) for grow-out at sea on nets, and the production of brown weed (Alaria esculenta, Saccharina latissima, others as required) seeded collector string for supply to licensed on-growers for growth trials. The licensed seaweed hatchery will be engaged directly by the Contracting Authority
