Short description
Clare County Council is seeking to establish Framework Agreements to undertake works on Clare County Council owned properties. It is anticipated that each lot may consist of up to a maximum of 25 no. contractors and there may be up to 2 no. reserves. A contractor will be facilitated on both lots. The framework will cease after 2 no. years or when the total value of task orders under the framework reaches €10,000,000, whichever is the sooner. Clare County Council reserves the right to extend the contract by 2 years if necessary.

Description of the procurement
The type of works contracts to be awarded from this framework include but are not limited to the following: rapid response works with a maximum 2-hour response time required, retrofitting works, refurbishment of fire damaged and derelict properties, improvement works and extensions to local authority properties and ancillary social housing related contract works. It is intended to utilise this Framework Agreement for maintenance and refurbishment works to Clare Library Service Properties, Clare Fire Service properties and other properties in the ownership of Clare County Council. Successful tenderers will also be required to work using existing and any future Clare County Council software systems.
Price is not the only award criterion and all criteria are stated only in the procurement documents
