The IA is to fulfil the roles of an Assessment Body (CSM-AB) under the Common Safety Method on Risk Assessment and Evaluation [CSM 352/2009]. The IA may be required to fulfil the role of an Independent Assessor (IA) under the CENELEC standard [EN50129
