The Haemostasis and Cancer Molecular Diagnostics laboratories (HMD and CMD respectively) are seeking to go to tender to replace two end-of-service capillary electrophoresis instruments (Applied Biosystems 3130 and 3130XL). The HMD laboratory primarily performs Sanger sequencing whereas the CMD laboratory primarily performs fragment analysis. Two identical instruments are being sought (one for each laboratory) to satisfy the current and future workloads of the departments
