Short description
The Contracting Authority (Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology) invites tenders under the Accelerated Open Procedure for the establishment of a single party framework agreement for the provision of PPE Personal Protective Equipment for Covid 19 on a draw down basis as and when requirements arise. Due to the impact of Covid-19 and ongoing developing situation around the spread, containment and control of Covid-19(Coronavirus) GMIT wishes to include this requirement in the range of specialist PPE to be provided.

Description of renewals:
The maximum duration of the framework will be two (2) years subject to satisfactory annual review of performance, with the option to extend by a further two years if required. The Contracting Authority confirms that the period of any contracts awarded under the framework agreement may extend beyond the date of expiry of the agreement.

Additional information
The framework will be on a draw down basis to protect staff and students occupying the GMIT premises, in response to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. The personal protective equipment referred in this document is for protective clothing, gloves, face shields, goggles, facemasks, wipes, and alcohol gel etc. Please refer to ITT for full details.
