RTÉ intends to build two new radio studios in the TV Building and in the Stage 7 building in 2020-2021 and plans to install Audio over IP infrastructure in order to modernise other radio studios in future years.
As part of its drive to provide efficiencies, enhance productivity and develop highly efficient workflows, RTE is running this competition to setup a framework agreement to purchase up to 6 IP based studio broadcast audio consoles and associated audio input and output interfaces over the next 7 years.
This framework agreement is for the delivery, commissioning, support, warranty and training for 6 IP based studio broadcast audio consoles and associated audio input and output interfaces.
This ITT also covers the delivery and commissioning of AoIP infrastructure for two new radio studios in RTÉ with the capability to expand to four other radio studios.
