LCETB invites Tenders for the provision of Learner Counselling Services for FET Learners attending FET Programmes provided by Limerick & Clare Education & Training Board in accordance with the requirements & information detailed below. Services shall be offered both online & face-to-face. Details of our centres are available on our website. It is expected that this service will be available to learners for 52 weeks x 37 hours per week from 1st September 2020 to 31 August 2021. During peak periods, there may be a requirement to increase counselling support services & provision should be made for additional counsellors to manage caseloads. Hours of work may vary and may include evening sessions. The Counselling Service for this contract operates within the remit of Further Education & Training (FET) Division of LCETB.

Description of the procurement

LCETB invites Tenders for the provision of Learner Counselling Services for FET Learners attending FET Programmes provided by Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board in accordance with the requirements and information detailed below. Services shall be offered both online and face-to-face.
This service will be available to FET Learners attending Further Education and Training Courses provided by the FET Division of Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board in locations across Limerick and Clare. LCETB is currently seeking tenders to enter into a 12 month contract (with the option to extend) for the provision of FET Learner Counselling Services. Tenderers are required to propose both online and face to face solutions. It is expected that this service will be available to learners for 52 weeks x 37 hours per week from 1st September 2020 to 31 August 2021. The Counselling Service for this contract operates within the remit of Further Education and Training (FET) Division of LCETB. The authority’s Further Education and Training Division delivers courses to over 25,000 learners each year and has responsibility for 33 Further Education and Training Centres. We work with community groups in approximately 300 locations across the region and are also responsible for the management of music education provision. We offer a wide range of life-long education and training options to anyone over 16 years. Further Education and Training helps you get real skills for employment, career and personal development.
