The online passport service provides numerous benefits for citizens including a more convenient application process, quicker processing times, reduction in errors, and a greater user experience overall. This online service is the Department’s channel of choice and to date over 1 million applications have been received through this channel since the launch in of the passport card in 2015 coupled with the launch of online passport applications in 2017.
The Department wishes to engage the services of a contractor to provide support and maintenance of the existing website and associated architecture and future development of features, add-ons and associated online services.
