It is proposed that the Contract will include the maintenance, both preventative and corrective, of all EV charging equipment on the ESB Network across Ireland (the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland). In addition to the charging equipment maintenance work, associated interface pillars, their components and cabling between it and the charging equipment, earthing, protective barriers, signage and signage posts, ground markings where required. The successful tenderer will be responsible for the sourcing, management and storage of all materials including storing of full replacement units where required in the maintenance of the network. The successful tenderer is responsible in ensuring that those working on the equipment are competent in working on the specific equipment, have all the necessary training, DC and AC test kits, tools and carry the necessary spares to address issues when traveling to sites.

Description of the procurement

The Contracting Entity intends to procure a service maintenance contract for Maintenance of the ESB EV Charging Network in Ireland.

The Contracting Entity is preparing a draft contract and schedules that will be provided to the pre-qualified and short listed. Applicants at the next stage of the Procurement process i.e. the Request for Tender stage. The Contract will set out the terms and conditions pertaining to the technical, commercial, financial, safety and legal requirements for the Maintenance Service.
The maintenance service will be procured utilising bespoke terms and conditions based on ESB Standard Legal Agreement, as will be amended for the purposes of this particular work scope and as required by the Contracting Entity.
