Limerick Clare Education & Training Board (LCETB) invites tenders from suppliers for the purchase, supply & delivery of Electrical Consumable which will be used to train Electrical Apprenticeships in Shannon & Raheen Training Centres as described below, in single or multiple quantities, as more fully described in Appendix 1 Requirements & Specifications & Appendix 2 Pricing Document of this RFT. This competition for LCETB will also result in the creation of a Single – Supplier Framework Agreement for a 4 year period. In addition, the framework will be used in the event that other schools/centres under the Contracting Authority’s remit secure funding & require electrical consumables that are subject of this competition. The Contracting Authority is an ETB responsible for the delivery of services in the Limerick & Clare Region. LCETB delivers educational services to over 34,000 students & learners annually. The authority employs 2,500 staff.

Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board delivers educational services to over 34,000 students and learners annually. The authority employs 2,500 staff. It has an average annual budget of €130 million across all its divisions and its capital programme will see an investment in excess of €90 million in the region over the next 4 years.
The authority has responsibility for: 3 primary schools, 18 post primary schools, 2 outdoor education centres, co-ordination of youth work provision in the region, 33 further education and training centres, 2 Music Generation programmes and works with community groups in approximately 300 locations throughout Limerick and Clare.
