The Contracting Authority is seeking a flexible and responsive service provider to assist it in carrying out workplace drug testing. The current Defence Forces (DF) requirements for drug testing are solely for urine testing however it is envisioned that during the course of this contract a requirement for hair testing may arise. There are 20-30 workplace drug testing operations per year testing approximately 2000 DF personal. The testing operations takes place at occupied military installations which are selected at random. The random selection includes installations nationwide and also a small number of overseas locations where Irish Military personnel are deployed.
