Short description

The MPUH Orthopaedic Theatres comprise 711.90m2 of clinical accommodation on the ground with an enclosed plant room of 342m2n over head. There are two stand alone structures associated with the development including a generator and Gas Storage Compound. Due to the falls across the site a retaining wall is required to carry the path on the south side and a fire tender/ waste collection road will also link to the internal MPUH road network.
It is intended that the works will be executed on a live Healthcare campus, however an Enabling Contract is envisaged to prepare the service Tie ins, Infection control measures inclduing sealing the adjacent windows and providing localised HEPA Filtered ventilation systems. Not withstanding this strick controls shall be put in place for the main contract to ensure high levels of patient, care, health, safety and dignity.
