Short description
Mary Immaculate College would like to invite tenders for the supply, implementation, maintenance and support of a Library Services Platform (LSP); this next generation system will enable the Library to both maximise potential efficiencies in work-flows and processes and extend efficiencies currently underway; Mary Immaculate College expects this new system will provide a unified resource management approach to the full range of Library services; and in particular to the management of our collections both in print and online. This new system will ensure that staff, researchers and students of both our Limerick and Thurles Campuses will have access to a learning environment that enhances their interaction and engagement.

The proposed solution must provide a Library Services Platform (LSP) with integrated management of the following functions:
• Acquisitions,
• Analytics/ management information,
• Circulation,
• Integration with discovery,
• Electronic resource management,
• Document Delivery (ILL)
• Financial management,
• Inventory,
• Metadata management,
• User management

MIC would like to invite tenders for the supply of a hosted/cloud based Reading List Management System, which will facilitate the creation and maintenance of course reading lists, will improve the accessibility of reading requirements to students and will facilitate the sharing of reading list information with the library.
