The Contracting Authority requires a bench-top next-generation sequencing (NGS) platform for the sequencing of DNA and RNA from clinical samples. The instrument will be used in a research and clinical diagnostic setting. The NGS Platform must be suitable to sequence DNA and/or RNA from multiple sources including blood, fresh and frozen tissue, formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue, buccal swab and sputum. The tendered equipment must allow the sequencing of samples prepared using commercial and custom amplification based and/or target enrichment based library preparations. The platform must also efficiently sequence patient samples using third party library preparation methods.
