The National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) of the Department of Culture, Heritage, and the Gaeltacht is seeking tenders for a Single Supplier for the supply, installation, training and maintenance of Pedestrian, Cycle and Vehicle Counters for Irelands National Parks, Nature Reserves and Trails. Visitor counters are required primarily at the main entry and exit points to the National Parks, Nature Reserves and some of the most used trails.

Description of the procurement

A decision has been made to cancel this competition in order to give the Department an opportunity to reconsider and make provision for the Department's updated Tender requirements.
For that reason the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht has decided to cancel the competition in accordance with clause 2.1.2 of the RFT and re-advertise the competition.
It is envisaged that the Department will re-tender for Visitor Counters in the very near future.
In the meantime the Department would like to express its sincere gratitude for your interest in this Tender.
