The Design Team services required to carry out this project will be procured on the basis of a MEP led single design team appointment. The selected team will be required to provide the range of consultancy services for the delivery of the project including but not limited to the following:
• Mechanical, Electrical & Process Engineering Services (MEP);
• Employers Representative
• Project Supervisor Design Process
The Initial contract used to establish the framework comprises designing a space for Replacement of Hydrogen Generator in TNI Block C.

Description of the procurement

This tender comprises the Establishment of a Single Supplier Framework of MEP led Design Team for small works projects at Tyndall National Institute & Appointment of Design Team for the Replacement of Hydrogen Generator in TNI Block C
The Design Team services required to carry out this project will be procured on the basis of a MEP led single design team appointment. The selected team will be required to provide the range of consultancy services for the delivery of the project including but not limited to the following:
• Mechanical, Electrical & Process Engineering Services (MEP);

• Project Supervisor Design Process
The Initial contract used to establish the framework comprises designing a space for Replacement of Hydrogen Generator in TNI Block C. Tyndall National Institute utilise an onsite Hydrogen Generator to generate Ultra High Purity Hydrogen Gas that is used in a number of processes. The current generation unit has reached end of life and will be replaced. The current Hydrogen Generator is located on the ground floor of the Block A, Phase 4 plantroom.
It is Tyndall’s intention to replace the current Hydrogen Generator with two (2) new units. . Tyndall are currently finalising the procurement of these units. This will be a separate procurement process managed by UCC Procurement Office.
