Sligo County Council is seeking the full range of complimentary consultancy design team services to develop the project from preliminary design, to securing all necessary statutory consents, detailed design, to complete tender and construction documentation, tender evaluations, inspection of construction works and issue statutory certification on completion. Included in the scope of this project is the securing of any necessary Part 8 consents and landownership issues.

Description of the procurement

The Sligo City Centre public realm enhancement scheme involves the upgrading of the following streets:

The Urban Designer/Landscape Architect-led Design Team shall be proficient in providing a complete service that includes the following disciplines/services:
• Senior Urban Designer/Landscape Architect.
• Senior Civil/Structural Engineer with experience of the Design Manual for Urban Roads and Streets (DMURS), Traffic Management and Sustainable Drainage (SUDS).
• Senior Quantity Surveyor
• Senior Mechanical and Electrical Engineer.
• Project Supervisor for Design Process (PSDP) Services – (Health & Safety);
• Support from suitably qualified Conservation Architect (Grade 1 ) (in relation to works in the vicinity of protected structures) and Archaeologist (in relation to the zone of archaeological potential associated with the historic town)
• Licensed Archaeologist.
• Chartered Ecologist/Environmentalist
