Short description

The Contracting Authority intends to establish a framework agreement with suitably-qualified and experienced medical service providers for (i) the conduct of neurosurgical procedures and (ii) the operation of a ‘see and treat’ model for outpatients. In all instances, the framework member in question shall be responsible for all administrative and operational duties associated with scheduling appointments for patients referred by the Contracting Authority. Justification:  
The subject matter of this framework agreement comprises ‘Hospital Services’ for the purposes of the procurement regulations. Consequently, this competition is governed solely by Title III of Directive 2014/24/EU. On this basis, the Contracting Authority is availing of shortened timescales in order to establish these framework agreements.
