This public procurement competition relates to the provision of a Computer Aided Dispatch and Communications Platform with Supporting Services to An Garda Síochána. The objective is to provide a better service to the public and a greatly improved response to demand for service starts in the wider control room environment where the first contact with the member of the public is dealt with. From this initial contact, An Garda Síochána will, in the future, strive to deliver the best possible experience to all parties to that contact whether that be a serious criminal incident, a public safety engagement or a general query for information. Key to the successful delivery of this vision is information. Better information leads to:
• Better real-time decisions
• More efficient and effective responses
• Richer collaboration
• Safer deployment of Garda resources
