Short description

The NTA requires a digital or website supplier to manage, maintain, enhance and further develop/ redevelop a number of national public transport based websites, including, but not limited to:

• www.leapcard.ie (functional eCommerce site which includes account management)
• about.leapcard.ie (non-functional information site)
• www.nationaltransport.ie
• www.busconnects.ie
• www.locallink.ie
• www.activetravellogger.ie
• www.smartertravelworkplaces.ie (incorporating www.smartertravelcampus.ie)
• www.cyclemanual.ie
Over the years the number of platforms these site have been developed on, differ. As such the Authority is seeking a supplier to provide a new content management system(s) to maintain all of the sites. This will improve the Authority’s ability to manage and efficiently update and disseminate content. It is envisaged by having one provider and system(s) will reduce the complexity of managing, maintaining and supporting system(s).

Additional information

The contracting authority will not be responsible for any costs, charges or expenses incurred by candidates or tenderers relating to this contract award procedure irrespective of the outcome of the competition, or if the competition is postponed or cancelled. All costs incurred by interested parties in participating in this competition must be borne by them.
Any contract award will be subject to a number of preconditions, including production of a current tax clearance certificate or tax clearance statement from the Revenue Commissioners in Ireland. The contracting authority may terminate this competition (or any part thereof), change the basis of and the procedures for the bidding process, at any time, or procure the project by alternative means if it appears that the project can thereby be more advantageously procured.
