Description of the procurement

Fulfilling the role of Project Archaeologist in accordance with the Code of Practice for Archaeology as agreed between the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs and Transport Infrastructure Ireland (2017).
Associated services:
Preparing and drafting standards, guidelines and technical advice notes in the areas of cultural heritage, archaeology, archaeological science, architectural heritage etc.
Provision of specialist archaeological and heritage services and advice in the areas of cultural heritage, archaeology, architectural heritage, world heritage, industrial heritage, architectural conservation, conservation engineering, archaeological data, spatial data, scientific advice and other specialist services as may be required from time to time.
Progressing archaeology/heritage books for publication (e.g. in the TII Heritage Series), including providing an editor to prepare typescripts for submission to TII’s print service providers, and an illustrator to prepare graphics suitable for publication/presentation.
Preparing relevant metadata to accession reports, publications, etc., to the TII Digital Heritage Collections which are hosted on the Digital Repository of Ireland.
Preparing data for annual notifications to the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht in accordance with Section 12 of the National Monuments Act 1930 to 2014.
