Description of the procurement

Park House:
Refurbishment of lower ground east canteen to high density storage area
Refurbishment of lower ground landlord areas i.e. toilets and showers
Refurbishment ground floor east, west for new interim library
Refurbishment of 1st & 2nd floor east and west for new interim library
Refubishment of 1st & 2nd floor north for office space
Refurbishment of 1st & 2nd floor landlord areas
Refurbishment of 4th floor east, west, north for office space and landlord areas
Refubishment of 6th floor east, west, north for office space and landlord areas
Works to entrance of the building for disability access
New stairwells to the east and west form the lower ground to the 2nd floor of the building.
Upgrade site landscaping to accommodate use of cycle parking
Total area of refurbishment = 8270m2 approx
Rathdown House is a protected structure: the CA will expect that the contractor does have expierence with working on Protected Structures designated “ Regional Importance”. The extension of Ground floor canteen, canteen floor area is currently 247 square meters to cica 470 aquare meters by change of use of existing meeting rooms. . Change of use on the first floor circa of 590m2 from library to cellular treatment/consultation rooms. Miscellaneous works at GF and FF for reception spaces, WCs & general circulation.
