Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) invites suitably qualified companies with a proven track record to participate in a tender process for the provision of specialist engineering maintenance support services of rolling stock sub-systems, or vehicles of a similar nature for both running and heavy maintenance on Toilets, HVAC, and Air Dryer systems across their fleets.
This contract will be broken down into 2 separate lots.
Lot 1: On-Board Toilet System Maintenance
Lot 2: Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning [HVAC] Systems Maintenance

Description of the procurement

Lot 1: On-Board Toilet System Maintenance
The toilet systems contract involves the servicing, running repair and heavy maintenance on sub-assemblies within the toilet systems on both the ICR and 29000 fleets at Portlaoise and Drogheda Depots, as well as the repair and servicing of all toilet bowls from all other IÉ fleets.
The contract will require an on-site presence to supplement other maintenance activities as and when required, i.e., maintenance of levelling valves, air dryers etc., and IÉ will make available to the successful contractor suitable locations within both Drogheda and Portlaoise depots for the overhaul of the toilet modules.
