Short description

The Contracting Authority intends to award a contract for the supply and maintenance of mobile patient hoists in Beaumont Hospital. The successful tenderer must provide comprehensive support and maintenance during normal working hours (incorporating a one year warranty) and the supply of all consumables and disposables as required. The duration of support and maintenance contracts may extend beyond the date of expiry of the contract as a whole.
In accordance with Article 27.3 of Directive 2014/24/EU, the Contracting Authority is availing of shortened timescales in respect of this competition. The urgency associated with this requirement arises from the fact that the required equipment will be used in an acute hospital setting. On grounds of patient care, time is of the essence in respect of this competition.
