The Contracting Entity may at it's discretion award this scope on the basis of one or more Contracts (i.e. (a) A contract for full scope of services or (b) Supply and installation as separate contracts)

Description of the procurement

The scope of the Contract is envisaged to include the design, manufacture, procurement, engineering, installation, construction and commissioning of an OCGT power plant including gas turbine(s), generator(s) and associated auxiliary equipment. The electrical output of the OCGT power plant is expected to be in the region of 300 MW to 350 MW in either a single gas turbine or two gas turbine configuration. It is possible the some existing balance of plant equipment may be reused but the feasibility of this is not yet established. The scope of the Contract may also include the demolition, removal and disposal of existing equipment including existing gas turbines, generators and associated equipment.
The Contracting Entity may;
• award a contract to a company (or a consortium) for the full scope of services i.e. on a turnkey basis or
• award a contract to a gas turbine Original Equipment Manufacturer (“OEM”) for the manufacture and supply of OEM equipment (plus engineering, design and commissioning assistance) and award a separate contract to a mechanical/electrical contractor for the design, engineering, procurement, installation, construction, testing and commissioning of the OCGT power plant incorporating the OEM equipment selected by Contracting Entity
