University College Dublin (UCD) invites tender submissions for the provision of an IT Managed Service for Business Systems to UCD. It is the intention of the University to put in place a framework agreement with a single service provider. The agreement will be to host the service for a period of 3 years, with the option to extend the agreement by one further one-year period. UCD wishes to complement internal IT Services with an externally provided fully managed platform service for its Business Systems. The objective is to provide capacity for both existing requirements and to meet any growth in services required by the University and to provide a 24x7x365 service across some applications and a reduced requirement across other applications.
