1. Strategic leadership of the Institute’s Sports Physiology service
2. Manage the work of other Sports Physiology consultants that may be contracted by the Institute to deliver services
3. Develop and deliver physiological monitoring and testing programmes
4. Provide expert guidance to coaches in developing physical training programmes
5. Develop strategies to enhance & maximise performance in challenging environmental conditions
6. Collaborate with other consultants to deliver expert multi-disciplinary support services
7. Lead the research and development agenda for Sports Physiology at the Institute
8. Contribute to knowledge sharing and development across the Institute and high performance sports to support the development of world-class sport physiology services.
