Monaghan County Council proposes to commission the services of a suitability qualified, experienced and competent Architectural or Civil/Structural Engineering Led Urban Design Team to provide all required consultancy services to deliver the proposed regeneration and infrastructural elements for the South Dublin Street and Backlands Regeneration Scheme. The Urban Design Team will be required to provide all necessary professional consultancy services on a phased basis for the Regeneration Project. The appointed consultants shall also be responsible for performing the roles and duties of Assigned Certifier, Designer and PSDP throughout all stages of the project and for performing the role of Employers Representative (ER) during the construction contract phase and handover phase. Tenderers should refer to the Project Brief Document and associated Tender Documentation for a full detailed description of all service requirements.

Description of the procurement

Monaghan County Council proposes to commission the services of a suitability qualified, experienced and competent Architectural or Civil/Structural Engineering Led Urban Design Team (Integrated Multi-Disciplinary Team) to provide all required consultancy services to deliver the proposed regeneration and infrastructural elements for the South Dublin Street and Backlands Regeneration Scheme. The Urban Design Team will be required to provide all necessary professional consultancy services in terms of design, planning, project management, procurement, environmental and construction management, contractor appointments, contract management and administration, final certification and all related consultancy services on a phased basis for the Regeneration Project. The appointed consultants shall also be responsible for performing the roles and duties of Assigned Certifier, Designer and PSDP throughout all stages of the project and for performing the role of Employers Representative (ER) during the construction contract phase and handover phase. The proposed Regeneration Scheme is a multi-disciplinary project and as such the urban design team consultancy services required will involve a range of disciplines and expertise during the life cycle of the project.
