This is a call to competition by IE for the supply and delivery of a Track Measuring Trolley System.
A track measurement trolley system is required by the Chief Civil Engineers ( CCE) Department of Irish Rail.
The CCE Department maintains and renews all track, structures and buildings within the railway network.
The track measurement trolley system will be used to assist with track renewal and maintenance works, e.g. tamping, relaying and ballast cleaning

Description of the procurement

This is a call to competition by IE for the supply and delivery of a Track Measuring Trolley System.
A track measurement trolley system is required by the Chief Civil Engineers ( CCE) Department of Irish Rail.
The CCE Department maintains and renews all track, structures and buildings within the railway network.
The track measurement trolley system will be used to assist with track renewal and maintenance works, e.g. tamping, relaying and ballast cleaning
IE requires the following to undertake surveying within the CCE Department :
3 x Track Measuring Rail Trolleys,
1 x Laser Scanner,
1 x Robotic Total Station with Active target (Optional) and
2x GNSS Rovers and 2 x GNSS Base Stations
Delivery of all items will be to Dublin.
Specification will be made available at tender stage.
Training of IE staff will also for part of the tender.
A PRE-QUALIFICATION QUESTIONNAIRE IS ATTACHED TO THIS NOTICE AND MUST COMPLETED AND UPLOADED ONTO ETENDERS ON OR BEFORE 12.00 ON 1ST JULY.
