The Contracting Authority intends to develop a new dedicated in-patient Cystic Fibrosis Unit, which will further the objectives of the National Clinical Care Programme for Cystic Fibrosis (NCPCF). The Contracting Authority will construct a three-storey block extension to its current premises with plant accommodation at the lower ground level, high dependency bedroom accommodation at upper ground and first floor levels and a link connection to the main hospital building. The Contracting Authority therefore wishes to appoint a suitably-qualified and experienced multi-disciplinary design team who will undertake the design of the facility from Stage (i) (Preliminary) through to Stage (v) (Handover), to include the appointment and management of a qualified contractor. The Contracting Authority will appoint an architect-led, multi-disciplinary design team.
