Short description

This is a call to competition by Iarnród Éireann (IE) for the procurement of Rail Gauge Face Lubrication Grease
This Grease is used on trackside lubricating machines.
These are electrically driven machines – the passage of trains triggers the application of grease to the rail gauge face, thereby reducing rail wear through areas of high curvature.
The grease is for the following machines types:
Protector IV GF Rail Lubricators.
Whitmore Lubricurve Electro system.
Proposed products must have approval for use in both machine types.
Attached to this notice are:
A Pre-Qualification Questionnaire,
A copy of the Specification.
IE intend to enter into a three year fixed price agreement with the option to extend for up to two additional years.
Delivery is to Portlaoise, Co. Laois.
Current usage is in the region of 2000kg per annum.
