Description of the procurement
Córas Iompair Éireann is the main provider of surface land public transport services within the Republic of Ireland. CIÉ is a statutory body, reporting to the Minister for Transport. CIÉ has three wholly owned subsidiary limited liability companies (Iarnród Éireann-Irish Rail, Bus Éireann-Irish Bus and Bus Atha Cliath-Dublin Bus), set up under the Companies Acts as provided for in the Transport (Reorganisation of Córas Iompair Éireann) Act 1986.
CIE seeks to engage a suitably qualified company to provide independent, vendor
neutral technology related advice and research access, analysis and guidance
across ICT sectors and technologies.
The service may be delivered in a variety of formats or media – but must include the following as a minimum:
• Direct access to analysts/experts in specific fields to discuss research, analysis, issues & opportunities;
• Briefings on key topics addressing the research needs outlined above;
• Access to on line reports and materials through an online portal;
• Access that is available to a number of individuals within the CIE Group;
• Local Account Management and measurement of engagement.
