Description of the procurement

Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) requires a Road Weather Information Service (RWIS) to assist the road network maintainers to undertake winter treatment of the national
road network; enable TII to provide users with road weather Information relating to the national road network and assist TII to plan and supervise construction and maintenance works for the national road network.TII owns a number of weather outstation assets that will provide roads specific weather observations for the new RWIS service. Details of these can be found in the weather outstation asset register.
