The supply banking services which include the provision and maintenance of bank accounts (current, deposit and credit card), income handling (including secure & convenient cash deposit services), a full range of payment processing options and other services associated with higher education banking arrangements, including a secure and user friendly electronic banking provision. The Institute is seeking to develop efficient and cost-effective banking arrangements which are capable of meeting future market and technological changes, and which will meet, and often exceed, user expectations.

Description of the procurement

The supply banking services which include the provision and maintenance of bank accounts (current, deposit and credit card), income handling (including secure & convenient cash deposit services), a full range of payment processing options and other services associated with higher education banking arrangements, including a secure and user friendly electronic banking provision. The Institute is seeking to develop efficient and cost-effective banking arrangements which are capable of meeting future market and technological changes, and which will meet, and often exceed, user expectations.
In addition, the sucessful tenderer will be provided with a lease opportunity. In relation to this element of the contract the bank is expected to provide a wide range of on campus banking facilities to staff, students and graduates. While electronic banking options are acceptable the stakeholders do require a high quality face-to-face customer service provision particularly during term time. The sucessful tenderer is also expected to maintain and operate a separate ATM facility on campus.
The sucessful tenderer will be provided with first preference opportunities to provide support and sponsorship to many relevant campus activities including access to entrepreneur programmes, incubation centres, research project opportunities, student events. Should the sucessful tenderer decide not to avail of such opportunities as they arise the opportunity will be afforded to other financial institutions
