The audits are to be carried out in accordance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements and international auditing standards as promulgated by the International Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions. These audits should be completed to the required standard to produce an audit report for certification by the Comptroller and Auditor General. The audits will be carried out in a number of locations in the Republic of Ireland. These audits and the locations are specified in Appendix 1.1 of the request for tender.

Additional information
Following tender evaluation, the contracting authority was only in a position to award seven of the ten clusters of audits brought to the market. Contracts were awarded on the basis of the Most Economically Advantageous Tender received, being deemed the successful bid, subject to a limit of two clusters of audits being awarded to any one successful tenderer. Contracts were awarded to five qualifying tenderers covering clusters 1,2,3,5,6,8, 9) in line with the qualifying criteria set out in the RFT. The lowest and highest offers for each cluster reflect qualifying tenders only.
