In order to support the Capital Programme and UCC Strategic Plan 2017 to 2022 UCC intends to establish a Single Source Framework of Planning Consultancy Services to work on various projects for the UCC Buildings & Estates Office. The successful candidates will be required to have the relevant competencies and qualifications to fulfill the role.
Advice on land use planning and zoning issues.
Assist with planning applications under Strategic Housing Development (SHD) for Student Accommodation.
Advise on Planning Appeals.
Advise on Development Contributions.
Site Appraisals for Potential UCC Site Acquisitions.
Submissions on behalf of UCC on Development Plans and advise how emerging policy and legislation will impact on UCC Developments.
Advise UCC on the application of the current guidelines in relation to flood risk management and assessment and incorporate same into proposals.

Description of the procurement

This competition is based on an open procedure and the appointment to a framework will be determined by virtue of a test to determine the Most Economically Advantageous Tenders (“MEAT”), following a qualification stage. The tenderer with the top score under the MEAT test will be appointed to the framework.
