Short description

The Valuation Office wishes to appoint a contractor to carry out statutory Valuations for Rating purposes on commercial properties on its behalf in eight Rating Authority areas in Ireland.
The statutory Valuations will be carried out in accordance with the Valuations Acts 2001 to 2015.
It is envisaged the contract will involve the processing of approximately 5,700 Revision Applications across the following Rating Authority areas: Clare County Council, Cork City Council, Cork County Council, Donegal County Council, Kerry County Council, Galway City Council, Galway County Council and Mayo County Council.

Description of the procurement

The Valuation Office wishes to appoint a contractor to carry out statutory Valuations for Rating purposes on commercial properties on its behalf in eight Rating Authority areas in Ireland.
The statutory Valuations will be carried out in accordance with the Valuations Acts 2001 to 2015.
It is envisaged the contract will involve the processing of approximately 5,700 Revision Applications across the following Rating Authority areas: Clare County Council, Cork City Council, Cork County Council, Donegal County Council, Kerry County Council, Galway City Council, Galway County Council and Mayo County Council.
The contract will be split into 2 phases. The first phase will comprise the processing of approximately 2,100* Revision Applications in the relevant Rating Authority areas during 2019. The second (optional) phase may entail the processing of a further 3,600* Revision Applications in the same Rating Authority areas during 2020.
*The number of Revision Applications listed here are estimates only.
