Short description
The objective of this Request for Tenders (“RFT”) is to appoint a panel of service providers, under 3 Lots, to deliver energy management training courses and other communications supports commencing in 2017 over a maximum of a three year period. Specific services required are to deliver energy management training and communications supports for SMEs, large industry, the public sector and other related training courses– www.seai.ie/business_training/
Specific details of courses are outlined in the RFT.
This will result in the appointment of a panel of experts to provide technical support for three categories or “Lots” as follows:
Lot 1 – EMAP, Small Business and ISO 50001 tasters, Energy Efficient Design
Lot 2 – Measurement and Verification (M&V), Monitoring and Targeting (M&T), Basics of Energy Auditing
Lot 3 – Other Communications Supports, including awareness training and delivery programmes.

Description of the procurement
These courses are largely based on the ISO 50001 energy managment standard and will be useful for organisations looking to strengthen existing energy management system or seeking full ISO 50001 certification.
SEAI would expect to appoint five service providers to deliver 180 days training in Lot 1.
