Bord Na Móna Powergen Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bord Na Mona plc, intends to construct a 21 turbine wind farm and associated infrastructure at Cloncreen bog in eastern Co. Offaly, approximately 4.5 kilometres southwest of Edenderry and 4 kilometres east of Bord Na Móna’s 84 MW Mount Lucas wind farm. It is intended that the wind farm will be developed following a successful bid into a Renewable Electricity Support Scheme (RESS) auction in either 2019 or 2020. Expressions of interest are being invited from suitably qualified candidates interested in being considered as contractor for the electrical balance of plant requirements for the Cloncreen Wind Farm development
