Description of the procurement
The Tellus Programme requires a full time Geophysics Programme Manager to design and implement the national airborne geophysics programme, including the management of an airborne geophysical survey contractor to ensure the programme is run on time and to budget. Tasks will feature survey design and planning, contract management, budgeting, technical oversight, data quality control protocols, data processing through the use of Oasis Montaj Geosoft Software and technical reporting. The work will also involve the interpretation of geophysical features and anomalies to support the GSI bedrock mapping programme, assisting with survey outreach and communications, presenting findings at national and international conferences and communicating outputs to a range of stakeholders.

The Tellus Project requires a GIS / Data Manager to manage all the incoming data, undertake databasing, data analysis, web-based delivery systems including development of web-viewers and GIS tasks. The role will also support both the airborne and geochemistry survey operations through survey planning maps, development of digital data capture systems as well as assisting in new innovative outreach tools/products for the products workstream. Data handling will include, but not limited to geochemistry (field observations data, metadata, analytical data, quality control data, planning maps, data maps), geophysics (flight lines data, metadata, survey data, quality control data) and products (third party data, value-added Tellus data and products).

Description of the procurement
The Tellus Project requires an applied geologist to support the work of the Product Development workstream. The Applied Geologist will have an excellent knowledge of Irish geology and will be responsible for the technical implementation of a range of applied geology projects using Tellus and other geological data. Product development will span a variety of themes including but not limited to mineral prospectivity, agriculture, environment, public health (radon and metals), climate action and education. Contact with stakeholders in various sectors will be required in order to scope, plan and deliver tailored data products. The role will also have significant involvement with Tellus geochemists and geophysicists on data quality and interpretation as well as with external researchers and contractors.
