This is a call for competition by IE for the procurement of a Train Planning Application, befitting our commercially and customer focused company, with a focus on generating a short and long term timetables by geographically modelling our track infrastructure and using rolling stock traction data, capacity allocation and operational rules to simulate and generate train plans intelligently, avoiding conflicts. Timetables to be exported for use in other applications such as Journey Planning, Real Time Train Info and Train Performance systems. This tender includes application development/customisation, integration, data migration, testing and support. The application can be hosted in IE or delivered by a managed service by the supplier.
