Additional information

Section 2.9 of the RFT attached to this notice stated that the NTMA reserved the right to award the contract in part and the right to reduce the scope of Services. The contract awarded to the contractor by the NTMA pursuant to this tender competition included all aspects of the services described in Schedule 4 (The Services) with the exception of the provision of a “warm” site (referred to in the section of Schedule 4 entitled ‘Backup and Disaster Recovery’). Each of the tenders submitted to the NTMA contained proposals in respect of this requirement and were evaluated accordingly, with the contractor’s tender being identified as the most economically advantageous tender. Prior to contract award, the NTMA removed this requirement from the scope of services and the contractor’s costs were reduced by €87,487 to take account of the removal of this requirement. The value of the contract awarded to the contractor is set out in Section II.1.7 and Section V.2.4 above.
