This is a call to competition by Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) to award a long term contract for the supply and delivery of Expansion Switches.
IÉ invites Applications from suitably qualified companies to participate in the Pre-Qualification process to award a contract for the for the machining and delivery of Expansion (adjustment/breather) switches following free-issue of rail by IÉ.
This will be a fixed price contract valid for three years with the option to extend annually for up to a maximum of two additional years.
A PRE-QUALIFICATION QUESTIONNAIRE IS ATTACHED TO THIS NOTICE AND MUST BE FILLY COMPLETED AND RETURNED AS DIRECTED ALONG WITH ALL REQUIRED SUPPORT DOCUMENTATION.

Description of the procurement

This is a call to competition by Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) to award a long term contract for the supply and delivery of Expansion Switches.

This will be a fixed price contract valid for three years with the option to extend annually for up to a maximum of two additional years.
To note:
1. IÉ shall free issue CEN54 E1 rails for machining,
2. Expansion switch rails must be machined identically to allow for pairing in service,
3. All rail branding must be removed clear of clamp plate positions,
4. Rail ends to be provided undrilled,
5. Average annual requirement estimated at 30 sets.
A PRE-QUALIFICATION QUESTIONNAIRE IS ATTACHED TO THIS NOTICE AND MUST BE FILLY COMPLETED AND RETURNED AS DIRECTED ALONG WITH ALL REQUIRED SUPPORT DOCUMENTATION.
