Irish Rail (IÉ) invites applications from suitably qualified companies to participate in the pre-qualification process to award a contract for the supply and delivery of insulated dry block joint kits for delivery to Portlaoise Depot.
This will be a fixed price contract valid for three years with the option to extend annually for up to a maximum of two additional years.
Average annual requirement estimated at;
130 no 4 Hole Kits and 10 no 6 Hole Kits.
A PRE-QUALIFICATION QUESTIONNAIRE IS ATTACHED TO THIS NOTICE AND MUST BE COMPLETED AND RETURNED AS DIRECTED AND INCLUDE ALL REQUIRED SUPPORT DOCUMENTATION.

Description of the procurement

Irish Rail (IÉ) invites applications from suitably qualified companies to participate in the pre-qualification process to award a contract for the supply and delivery of insulated dry block joint kits for delivery to Portlaoise Depot.

4 hole CEN54/56E1 Insulated dry joint kit details;
*2 x Fishplates
*2 x Washer plates plain, 2 x Washer plates lipped,
*4 x Fishbolts and nuts

*Holes c/c 126.6mm, 380.6mm,
6 hole CEN54/56E1 Insulated dry joint kit details;

*Clip recess @ 584mm
*Holes c/c 126.6mm, 380.6mm, 786.6mm
NOTE:
1. Proposed plates must have certificate of acceptance for use in European high speed main line rail applications (for use in continuously welded rail).
2. Only steel/steel core type plates will be considered.
3. Proposed plates must have inspection window for resistance testing.
