The proposed N69 Listowel ByPass, is a 5.95km western and northern bypass of Listowel Town Centre The purpose of this ground investigation is to provide detailed ground investigation information to inform the detailed design of the scheme. An initial phase of ground investigation was completed in 2013. The works will consist of cable percussive boreholes with rotary core follow on in rock, in-situ and laboratory testing, geophysical surveys, trial pitting, heavy dynamic probing and installation of standpipe piezometers. The contractor will act as PSCS for his own works.

Description of the procurement
The proposed N69 Listowel ByPass, is a 5.95km western and northern bypass of Listowel Town Centre and consistes of approximately 3.65km of Standard Type 1 single carriageway, and 2.30km of online improvement of the existing network with pedestrian and cyclist facilities. The project includes 3 roundabouts, and associated realignment of local roads. Structures required by the project include a crossing of the River Feale, as well as stock and machinery underpasses and all ancillary works necessary for the successful construction and completion of the project. The purpose of this ground investigation is to provide detailed ground investigation information to inform the detailed design of the scheme. An initial phase of ground investigation was completed in 2013. The works will consist of cable percussive boreholes with rotary core follow on in rock, in-situ and laboratory testing, geophysical surveys, trial pitting, heavy dynamic probing and installation of standpipe piezometers. The contractor will act as PSCS for his own works.
