Description of the procurement
Lot 1.
Leasing of Various Lift Capacity Forklift Vehicles.
There will be a requirement, on the expiry of current leases, for new leasing of various lift capacity forklift vehicles. Lift capacity will range from 1,600kg to 4,000kg.
Forklift vehicles offered may be diesel or electrically operated. If electrically operated, installation and commissioning will be required. Leasing of vehicles will include a service and maintenance programme.

Description of the procurement
Lot 2.
The Service & Maintenance of Forklift Vehicles.
For forklift vehicles that are owned by Bus Eireann, a maintenance contract will be established which will provide planned servicing and maintenance and any maintenance outside of planning that may be required on occasion. Currently BE owns and operates six (6) forklift vehicles. Forklifts vary between diesel and electrically operated vehicles. Lit capacity varies between 1,600kg and 4,000kg. This contract will also include testing and certification of vehicles as per HSA regulations
