Description of the procurement

Wicklow County Council is setting up a Framework Agreement for the provision of Consultancy Services for Transport related Projects to be funded by Wicklow County Council.
The scope that may be required includes the provision of Engineering Consultancy Services for transport and transport related projects, including (but not limited to) the design, development and project management of:
Road Schemes;
Pedestrian and/or cycle improvement schemes;
Street and/or road improvement and repair schemes;
Junction improvement schemes;
Accessibility Improvement Schemes;
Traffic schemes or traffic management schemes;
Bridge improvement and repair schemes; and
Other ancillary schemes associated with transport infrastructure and traffic management.
Further details of Services that may be required in respect of projects carried out by Wicklow County Council can be found in the attached Tender Documentation.
Wicklow County Council estimate that 10-15 contracts may be awarded under the Framework Agreement each year, with an average indicative value of each project estimated to be €3,000 - €30,000. These amounts represent estimates only and actual amounts may vary from these estimates. Any Contracts for individual projects entered into on foot of the Framework Agreement shall be governed by the GCCC Standard Conditions of Engagement for Consultancy Services (Technical).
