On behalf of its member libraries, the Irish Research eLibrary (IReL) consortium wishes to purchase an online subscription to SciFinder, an online chemistry abstracting and indexing database. Scifinder indexes published literature from over 9,000 journals and patents from 50 issuing authorities by author, organisation names, research topics, substance identifiers, chemical structures and reactions and links to full-text content on the web and in libraries’ collections.
The IReL consortium is based in Maynooth University, which has overall governance responsibility for IReL. Maynooth University is the Contracting Authority for all aspects of this procurement process.
