Short description
The Health Service Executive (HSE) at University Hospital Limerick invites tenders from candidates (“Candidate” means economic operator or consortium which submits a response to this document) for the supply of an Automated Urine Microscopy Analysis instrument and the associated contract for the supply of test consumables and service contracts for UHL including:
all components and accessories necessary for the functioning of the tendered equipment;
supply of all consumables and quality assurance materials for the tendered equipment;
provision of on-going staff training, service and support for the duration of the contract; and
all systems.
This tender competition is designed to support both the interim and longer term requirements of the HSE with regard to any future reconfigurations. The initial requirement is for the placement of an automated urine microscopy analyser in the Microbiology department at University Hospital Limerick.

• provision of on-going staff training, service and support for the duration of the contract; and
• all systems.
The key objective of this tender process is to develop and maintain a sustainable and competitive marketplace whilst achieving maximum value for money together with legal and financial compliance.
